Frequently asked questions

Where are you located?
We are located in Coquitlam, BC, Canada. 5 mins drive from Coquitlam Central Station.
Price of the Kittens/Adults?
Please check out About Price page for more detailed information and explanations about why we set our price like this. Many people see that pedigreed kittens are often sold for $2000 or more and assume breeders are making a profit. However, the costs of responsible breeding are significant and hard to appreciate without firsthand experience. True, reputable breeders almost NEVER turn a profit; for them, breeding is a labor of love and a dedicated hobby.
And by reputable breeders, I don’t mean those who simply hold a cattery title with TICA, CFA, or other associations, nor backyard or casual sellers. This article that I shared aims to give a clearer understanding of the costs and considerations behind breeding, helping explain the pricing and the real challenges breeders face.
Why is the Prices Tend to Vary Considerably Among Breeders?
Basically, you have to take a look at what the breeders have invested into their Kings, Queens, and kittens. For example, the cost of the breeding parents, the DNA & blood testing for the breeding parents, the food brands that the breeders choose, the health procedure issued to the kittens (1 set of core vaccine vs 3 sets of core vaccination, worms, and fleas treatment, spay and neuter surgery with a microchip.) and MORE
Can I Adopt the Show Quality Kitten As a Pet?
Yes, of course, you can adopt a show-quality kitten and not take them to the cat show. Since we registered with TICA, we just followed the TICA Ragdoll Standard to evaluate the kittens; however, it doesn't mean that you can only get a show quality kitten because you want to show a cat. Check out the Ragdoll Level Determination for more details.
